The NEOS CD
contains 800 high quality scans of original
historical paintings 1895 -1952. Some 324 belong
to the North Of England Orchid Society, all of
which were awarded the society’s FCC, and 476
are associated paintings from the collection of
A J Keeling.
The key feature of the CD is its imaging
software enabling (without the need of any other
software) viewing and printing with many
options: slide shows, thumbnails in any size
both viewable and printable.
No computer expertise is required, just load the
CD, and the programme starts itself.
As an added bonus, the software that enables all
this, is available on the CD as shareware,
allowing users to enhance their own pictorial
CDs.
A new feature, of this edition is the fully
illustrated Centenary commemorative book ‘North
Of England Orchid Society - A History’.
This is a noted social document on orchid
growing in Britain from as early as 1731.
This and lists identifying the paintings are in
Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
A copy of the required Adobe Acrobat reader is
included on this CD.
Upgrades to this new version may be obtained by
returning older versions with £5 (£7 by post).
