More notes on the Paintings The quality of the paintings varies
considerably, many can be described as ‘stunning’
Their condition varies considerably, some having
withstood the ravages of time better than others.
Many have gone astray over the years; it is nothing
short of a miracle that any at all have survived two
world wars.
All however are well worth preserving on the CD, as a
reminder of what our predecessors could teach us all
